1986 Club Car Gas Choke
I have a 1986 Club Car gas. The entire air box, air filter, choke box, choke button(through the firewall) is missing. I put my hand over the choke to get it warmed up and then it runs fine. I have tried looking and it seems the assembly is no longer available. What can I do as a permanent fix? I even bought another carb and mounted it backwards to use the butterfly cable actuated as the choke flap, but that made the engine not run at all, even when all the way open? Thank you for any suggestions and/or pictures

Re: 1986 Club Car Gas Choke
There’s a Facebook group called “Club Car DS Golf Cart and Carryall Owners” and right now there’s a guy with a bucket of parts from a 1985 gas Club Car including the intake. Find it and message him.
