Grew up fishing with my dad and granddad. Sold my boat about 5 years ago.

I did some landscape work for a guy and when I showed up he had 2 ponds. We quickly became friends and I got permission to fish them. Pulled this bass out of his back pond on the last cast for the night. Pulled the catfish out of his front one. Both were about 4-5 years ago. Its always a good day there. My brother and I pulled a 30+lb cat out of the front pond one night about 3am (chicken liver inside panty hose). Ill see he he can turn up the pic

Yeah she was a blast to pull in. Caught it on a 6' medium pole 12lb test and a green/gold Rat-L-Trap with red hooks.

well last Thursday afternoon, I got done early enough to get a start.....was wetting the line about 3:30....and fished for about 2 1/2 hours.....caught 6 keepers, but I do "catch and release" this time of year.....not to mention I have plenty in the freezer.

HOWEVER...Friday was a different story.....its never happened before this, at my normal spots I go to in my cart.....I GOT SKUNKED! I am going to chalk it up to the weather, as it wasn't that nice of a day....

well my new reel, some line and a few lures came in today.....I'll have to wait till tomorrow to see it all, as the postman came after I left for work. nit a real biggie, as I would be able to do any fishing until next weekend....that is if it doesn't rain.

Not much a bass person. When I'm freshwater fishing, I like to anchor up under a tree and catch Bream and Perch. I do have a 5lb Bass on my wall that I caught in a private pond 15 or so years ago.

Of freshwater and saltwater, I rather saltwater fish. But honestly, as long as I'm fishing, I'm happy.
