Here is how I look at it. The tint ones are nice if U drive with the windshield up all the time. I perfer to have it down for the breeze at the beach during the summer though so it'sa waste of money to me. I hardly ever have it up except for winter time. I wear sunglasses if the sun out anyway!

And I usually go for style over substance.

Tint looks better. That's my choice.

The tint is very light and is fine for night use. As for the clear being cheaper then tinted I haven't seen that to be true.

Tinted most definitely looks better. This is a question I often asked myself before I purchased my windshield... I was almost convinced that I would go with tint until I had to drive home from my POPz house down a long road with few street lights one cold dark night without lights. It was either let the windshield down and eat the cold wind so I could see, or leave it up, and struggle to see.

I went with clear because you never know when you will get caught at night with no lights...

Amen,, I have both,,, and they are always down except in the winter/rainy times your willing to drive it,, mostly for looks,,, it don't really do that much to be called a wind shield.
