Angry 05 goes slow

I have an 05 precedent that suddenly developed a problem. The batteries ;2 new and 2 original all test just on the weak/good edge on a load tester. Fully charged up with no battery warning light I can go about 1 block on paved road when the speed goes down to walking speed and stays there. This just started this spring, last year it worked fine. Pulled the accelerator pedal and cleaned all connections as well as any others I could see. Ideas?

Leave the cart in the run postion and try and push the cart it should make a beeping sound you should feel it trying to brake, slow you down. If you do not feel the drag or do not hear the beeping it is probally the speed sensor.

To clarify the problem more. With a full charge the batteries load test good. If I put it in forward and push the accelerator to the floor it will take off at full speed for a short distance then slow to walking speed and stay there. The dealer I bought it from said it was the speed sensor too. Before I spend $140.00 I would like a second opinion. Thanks

Your speed sensor seems to be bad but you are also looking at a new set of batterys as 2 new batterys are being ruined by old batterys not taking charge correctly. This causes over charging and boiling fluid out much faster than normal in new batterys.

Hi Carryone,

Have you made any progress? When my speed sensor went out it would accelerate normally, but stop accelerating at about 7 mph. and continue at that speed max. Is yours going faster and then slowing down to about 7 mph or not exceeding that speed?
