48v on 36v Series Cart
I’ve been searching posts for the last hour and haven’t seen anything on this.
Charged my batteries today and ran the cart for all of 10-15 mins then check all 6 of my 6v batteries. 4 measured 6.2 the other two were 4.3. Guessing two are bad. Being that I’m going to have to replace two, I’ll just replace all. What does the congregation think about running 48v (6x8v) on a 36v series cart? I’ve heard it can be done but will generate extra heat at the motor. |
