2009 Yamaha cart
Ok guys looking into buying a 2009 48 volt Yamaha cart and putting a 6"lift, 10" wheels and 22" tires. This cart will be used as a hunting cart and I hunt in some large hills and am wondering if the stock motor and controller will handle this without problems. Some people I talk to says it will do just fine. Others say upgrade the controller because it will over heat and others say both need to be upgraded. Opinions please.

Re: 2009 Yamaha cart
A 2009 would have "Moric" controller, I think it's rated at 260 amps Way to low for a serious off road car. If you can afford it, new torque/speed motor and a much higher amp controller.
