Default Wiring in 24-12 v reducer on 2006 CC

I am wiring a 20 amp reducer to a 2006 CC. Instead of putting the reducer in the battery well(very little room) according to some of the install u tubes on the subject is there another option?

It looks like there a ton of unused prewired electrical connections already in dash. Some are 12 and some are 24 volt. Is it possible to plug in to some of these and run the reducer to a fuse bank from there?
I am trying to install a 12 volt car stereo unit.

Thanks

Steve,
Hate to bug you again but the original post you referred to only shows 9 and I can't get to the 15th you refer to.

It would be very helpful if you could send me that post that shows how you put the the reducer and the gang in the battery compartment of the 2006 CC.

Thanks,
bc
