Default Club Car DS Lift Help

Club Car DS Series cart
48V

I had a buddy approach me with his cart saying it keeps rubbing on the rear
tires.”What can we do it fix it?” I took some images of the lift set up in the rear
which appears to use shackle extensions. All the lifts I saw for Club Car relocated the leaf springs above the axle, this one did not.

-Any recommendation?
-Tire / axle placement appears to be really far forward in relation to the fenders compared to my EZGO.
Is that normal on Club Car? (View images)

Additional information
I appears the shocks sit at a big angle which leads me to believe
the lift or components are incorrect.

I’m no expert.....but every setup/lift I’ve installed the leaf springs are ON TOP of the axle. It may just be installed “upside down”.

The axle is forward, due to the extended Shackles you used to lift it.As the rear of the cart went up,the axle moves forward.Put the stock shackles back in,and lift it properly,by putting the springs over the axle, with saddle-relocation brackets supplied in the kit,or build a set.The extended shackles can make the cart scary at speed, especially on paved roads,or really uneven dirt paths at speed,it will sway,Alot.

That’s what it looks like. What a bootleg set up....
My buddy purchased the cart used and it was already like this.

Does anyone know what size lift is needed for 23x10.5 tires?

Honestly guys, simply mounting the front of the leaf spring the in Stock Location would be where I would start. There's shackles on the front and the rear of the spring. This means no solid mount, which is why the whole rear end is pulled forward.

^^^There's your answer, I guess nobody noticed this earlier because the pics the OP posted are upside down. I didn't even look at the front of the rear spring mounts. Nothing's holding the rear axle in place. It's a porch swing.

radelon nailed it.
