What OBC for a 2001 48v series cart?
Pretty sure my OBC is bad causing the cart not charge and my cart to hop and the solenoid to click on and of rapidly. If you followed my other post we know it isn't the batteries and I tried another solenoid. My OBC has no markings the sticker has been rupped off so any help on what to buy part number or link would be great!
Thanks! |

Most go to smart chargers when the OBC goes bad.

Unless you can find an OBC real cheap, I would upgrade to a DPI or smart charger.

Ok first I need to figure out what is causing the cart to jump and the solenoid to cycle rapidly. I was wondering if it was the yellow wire connection from the solenoid to the obc

By pass the obc and see how the cart does. It involves jumper wires I'm not sure what it takes for your cart but it will take the obc out of the system and allow you get the cart running. You will need to do this for the new DPI charger you are getting anyway.

The bypass procedure would require you to disconnect the SMALL yellow wire from the solenoid and install a new wire from there to the B- post of the controller.
