Default Club Car Lift Kit

I just purchased a 2002 Club Car Electric. Who makes the best lift kit and do I want a Spindle or A-Arm lift kit?

Thanks!
Tim

IMO, spindle lifts are fine for a street cart or a campground cruiser.. For serious off-roading, the A-arm or long travel lifts are the better choice... You'd be hard pressed to go wrong with a Jake's, Allsports, or Stretch lift kit..

one more question? Does installing a lift kit require a lot of tools, big jack, etc etc? I am very mechanically inclined and have a good selection of hand tools, but no impact wrenches etc.

Most if not all of the current lift kits available can be installed with normal hand tools.. A set of jack stands is a must have, to support the cart while replacing suspension components.. Having a 7-800 pound cart fall on ya can kinda ruin your day!!
