Amperage
i got a cushman gc400 without batteries and charger, the motor label say its 36 volts, series wound, ca 78 ans other details which is shown with the attached photos. i am planning to put 3 pcs 12v 100ah batteries in series but my problem is really how much amperage do i need for my battery bank to get my cart running, i dont know what does the CA 78 part is for on the label.

The plate looks like it is rating the motor at 78 amps for 1 hour.
Stock 36V golf cart on flat smooth terrain and everything working correctly draws 50 amps. |

so can i use 2 battery banks of 36volts 100ah (3 x 12v in series) to give me a 36volts 200ah total battery power or what can you advice me to to get a 36volt 200ah connection. thanks

jfs51765, you have it correct, two 36 volt packs at 100ah each in parallel with each other will give you 200ah of total capacity.
