Need help replacing charger cord
I have a 1995 CC DS with a powerdrive 48 volt charger model 17930 Lester ser #09-94. I ordered a new cord from East Coast Carts part #10903 that showed for 1995 CC DS and looks identical except for 2 issues.
1. The cord receptacle plug has 3 prongs and on the old cord the prong that is next to alignment block that goes to cart receptacle which is also the wire that goes to OBC is shorter than on the new plug. The new plug all 3 prongs are equal in length. Will this be a issue as long as I do not unplug when cart is charging? 2. The other issue is that the connectors on the new cord are different than on the old cord that connect inside charger. Maybe they just do not make the exact replacement cord. It would not be difficult to change connectors. I was hoping to get this done today but I will call on Monday to East Coast Carts if I do not get reply sooner. Hope this all makes sense. Thanks Phil |

Re: Need help replacing charger cord
The length of the 3rd prong shouldn't be an issue and the connectors at the other end can easily be changed as you already know.
