No Spark for my G1
Hey guys,I have really been going through this!! Since I started working on my G1 I have had to go through hernia surgery so it seems to be taking forever to get my toy up and running. I have some more questions for ya.
Before I started this I had good spark and gas, but no compression. All together I have redone crank seals, reed box, carburetor, piston, rings, jug, BBQ'd the muffler, and put it all back together to find that now I have gas, good compression, but NO SPARK!!! ARRGGGGGGGG!!! What next? Could I have screwed up something in the magneto when replacing the crank seals on that side? I put everything back like it was (after cleaning) I have went back over everything checking fuses and such, but still nothing. Maybe if someone could give me some pointers on where to go from here. Is there anything I can check with a test light? Could the coil have gone bad? Any help will be appreciated. Can't wait to ride my buggy FatDog |

Re: No Spark for my G1
Sounds like a bad coil. You also have a small (orange I think) wire that should connect to the coil. Make sure it hasn't broken or lost connection somehow.
