Quit running
I overhauled my 1986 Ezgo gas engine and it ran fine till I ran out of gas. Now it won't start at all. It has spark but will not run, what do I try now?

Re: Quit running
Your fuel pump is not self priming so,
Remove the fuel line into the carburetor and point it into a container Remove the fuel cap and add fuel Wrap a shop rag around the filler to make a seal Blow into the tank until you see fuel coming out of the fuel line Replace fuel line Start cart. You're welcome Dave |

Lordy Lordy, I dread to think what your fertile mind could come up with. I would go and hide on the other forum but it is like a ghost town over there.

Re: Quit running
Pull the fuel line off the carburetor and crank the engine. Do you see a big healthy spurting jet of fuel? A dribble or a trickle will not do. If you do then reconnect the fuel line and crank it over for 5 seconds then pull the spark plug. Is it wet or dry?
