Default Engine craddle pics for DuroMax 16hp EZGO Workhorse

I'm having a hard time finding pics of the engine craddle that some of you have made for this 16 HP Clone engine. I would love to see some good quality pics of this craddle going into a EzGo workhorse.

I am doing this swap and I have the old 350 engine out and I'm wanting to get some ideas on the engine mount (craddle).

Thanks!

Bill

I made a cradle for my workhorse when I did the BB. The website is being picky about uploading hi-def pics this AM.... if they don't work just PM me your email and I will send you lots of pics

Thanks! That looks kind of big for the 16hp DuroMax. I was thinking of something a little smaller.

Do you have one of those mounts that you would like to sell?

I'm sorry I don't. That one was unique. I had removed the cross member in the engine compartment so I could take advantage of all that extra room in the workhorse ...

You might be able to work something out with your original mount....if you built a platform for the engine that bolted to the 2 halves just like the original engine did? Just thinking out loud, the skid plate is already a good starting place. It bolts up..... hmmm

I'm having an engine mount made today at the local weld shop. Is is going to be made out of 3/16 steel plate and one piece of angle. The plate will a have bend in it so it will bolt to the front frame of the engine compartment and the stock rear aluminum engine mount.

I will post pics when I get it. It's a little different than what I have seen on here but I think it will work just fine. Very simple.

I figured if steel plate will hold my 28 horse Vanguard on my zero turn mower, then it should hold this 16 hp engine for the workhorse! Lol !!

Got my cradle back, looks great and fits perfectly. It looks like I'm going to need a 4 0r 5 inch longer belt. I originally had aproximately 10 inches between the clutchs. Now it's more like 14 to 15 inches. Any suggestions? I dont know how some you guy's were able to use the stock belt after installing the clone engine.
