Default Purchasing Cart Today

Hey All,

I'm going this afternoon to look at a 2004 EZGO Electric TXT Series. I'm compiling a list of items to check/verify when I'm looking at it. All suggestions are welcome!

Thanks!

Battery age is always a bargin point when buying electric cart.

Make sure steering rack is tight. Drive it over some sharp bumps and listen for rattles. Take a digital voltmeter and check each battery. They MUST be within 0.1 volt of each other to be considered balanced, and they should all be the same make, model and age. Plug up the charger and make sure it runs for at least 10 minutes without shutting off. Voltage across the pack MUST rise when the charger is engaged. Check battery racks and ALL terminals for rust or any green corrosion. You should be able to lock up the brakes if you press hard enough.

So the TXT carts are good? I dont know a thing about them. I was looking at a 06 TXT.
What about upgrade parts? Is there a good selection for these?

How old is to old for Batteries. The 06 still has the original batteries.
