Default New to Me E Z Go 36v elec.

Hi to all I just joined the forum. I bought a used E Z Go golf cart and I am having trouble finding the year and model. If anyone can help with that I would greatly appreciate it.

Also I know it needs new batteries soon, will that make a huge difference in the speed of the cart.

The numbers listed on the cart are 81F23 232598. It is a 36 volt electric cart. I was hoping it was a 1998 but I am thinking it is older. Cart is in very good shape except the batteries are old. I want to add a few things to it anything I need look at 1st.

Thanks in advance.

If batteries are old you should probably start there and get it over with.

I was hoping it was newer. But it is in really good shape. Do I spend money on this one or buy a better one? I just got new batteries yesterday and it goes much better.

Thanks to all I am hooked.

How many wheels?

Don't count the steering one.

I have a Marathon here at the house that does 24 MPH... it's your choice as to if you get a newer cart..... Fancy upgrades are easier to find for the TXT model, but if the frame is good on the Marathon, they are solid dependable carts. (hitting immobile objects notwithstanding......)
