Default OBC confusion

In the past 1+ years since I have been on here we have had more than 1
OBC problem caused and resolved by changing the direction of the cable in the OBC !

Is this a result of installing a new OBC on the opposite side of the panel from what it was originally ?

I'm confused please SPLAIN this

DC current travels in one direction so the from and to is what is important. I'll post a picture showing where the NEG end is and what side it has to go through first on your OBC.

The main NEG lead shown in the picture is removed but you can see the side of the OBC that the cable needs to run through first. NEG cable goes into the raised panel on the OBC and comes out on the other side.

NO... it's the NEG cable.

I see how you could think that based on my post. I changed it to read End, not start. The cable position is the important thing, and yes DC current flows POS to NEG.

You have the picture :) The last/main NEG lead coming from your last battery in your pack goes through the OBC as you see in the picture. The other side of the OBC doesn't look like what you see above. Your battery pack is setup in series, one main end for POS and one main end for NEG. The NEG is what you see in the picture, (just not hooked up.) So just follow that NEG through the OBC as you see it in the picture above. :)

OK .

1.So to kook it up correctly you would take the end (not pictured) (but shown going next to the last Neg Battery Post) and connect it to your Last Neg Battery Post.

Now U tell me the instruction from the picture above the instructions to run it backwards.

2. Would I run from the Neg Battery , to the back of the OBC and then thred it from back to front and across the front to the controller ?

THANKS !
Well no darn wonder I did not understand it .
My CC is a 99 48 Volt , the OBC is mounted on the motor side of a solid metal plate behind the Batteries
a person would have to be an idiot (and very creative to even attempt to do it )

Thanks for the help , I guess this could be a problem with the NEWER carts.

PS : good to talk to U again, where is OX
