That 7000 watts that the generator puts out = 62.5 amps. when you step on the pedal of a 36 volt golf cart it needs 2 to 300 amps to make the motor move the cart, so that 7000 watt generator is not going to move a golf cart. you would need a generator the size of a car to put out that much power to move the cart
How many amps can a 7500 watt generator service? ¿? Assuming 120 VAC. 7500 / 120 = 62.5 amps. Here power factor plays an important role. Generally generators operate at 0.8 lagging, not more than this. So amps will be appro |
