Default Curtis PMC

I just purchased a Curtis 400a PMC controller and pedal switch to convert my resistor cart to solid state. I am currently getting an average speed of 16mph with a top speed of 19mph and was wondering if this controller is gonna slow me down or is there a speed code for it. I am running 36v with 2/0 battery cables and 1/0 motor and f/r cables. The motor has had a wind removed from the field coils and is a series motor. Thanks in advance.

Wink Re: Curtis PMC

Hard to say! I would think not but you never know! Good luck with the swap.
