Yamaha G9 Rear Seat Advice needed
Hey guys & gals,
I'm installing a Gusto rear seat on my Yamaha G9, and I need to know if the angle of the main seat frame being so high is normal? According to the instructions, I've done everything right so far, but the high upward angle just looks wrong. What do you think of trimming the down supports to decrease the angle? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. |

Re: Yamaha G9 Rear Seat Advice needed
Nobody replied, but I thought I'd let you know that it was an easy fix. Gusto was kind & offered to send me modified down struts in exchange for some simple measurements. I declined when he agreed that simply cutting down the struts and drilling a new bolt hole would do the trick...and it worked perfectly. Most of you probably knew this already, but I had to learn it myself. Hopefully this helps someone else down the road. Have a good day.
