Just an update. Had some other fuel issues and just took it to the shop. Recommended to rebuild the front end but that will come later down the road.
Of course I have another question.... When you start to move forward, the motor " torques" and hits what looks to be a "stop". It looks like this is normal but is there a cushioning piece that is suppose to be there? Thanks |

Yes, they call it a snubber. Kind of a polyurethane sponge material and they fall apart after a few years. OEM last the longest.
I replaced a bunch of mine with about a 15” section of 1” heater hose. Run a zip tie down the middle and wrap it around the tongue a few times. Then pull the zip tie tight to hold it in place. |
