Default Club Car DS Lithium Battery Installation Rookie

I just received an Evolution 48v/100ah Battery Pack w/ Evolution 58.4v 20 amp Fully Sealed Charger from Extreme Team Carts. I am going to install in my 2004 Club Car DS. This may be a dumb question but do I need to keep the OBC since I'm not going be using the Club Car charger any more? If I do get rid of the OBC, is there anything I need to do with the existing wiring?

You can get rid of the OBC. You need to join the blue and white wires on the harness to the OBC together to bypass the charger interlock. Details are in the thread above.

yeah no need for the OBC you can remove it, the plug going to the OBC you'll want to connect the BLUE and WHITE wires together on the carts wiring harness side. remove the OBC and don't throw it away, sell it on ebay if you can. I sold mine on eBay for $250

remove the charger port and rewire the new port/charger that is included in the kit to the battery.
