Non-isolated means that the grounds for the high voltage and low voltage are common. Most of the reducers I have used are that way. Since the high voltage should never be grounded to the frame, you must make sure that you do not ground any of the low voltage stuff either if you use a non-isolated converter!!!!

Would an isolated converter be easier/better?

Yeah, I've known about not using frame for ground on electric vehicles. I appreciate the reminder.

What are your thoughts on the other items?

I appreciate you chiming in! I see you on here helping folks with electrical questions a lot. As is probably very apparent, my electrical knowledge is lacking, to say the least. Just wanted to say thank you for sharing knowledge!

Most carts just isolate all of the 12V stuff from the frame - which means running power and ground to each of the light fixtures, etc. I have used any isolated converters - although I am sure that there are some out there.

Other than it being too bright for my night vision goggles at night, this is a great option.

Somehow I missed your reply. Thanks for the suggestion! I'll check it out. How do the button stickers hold up over time/weather?

So far so good. They're advertised as being waterproof.

I had access to a pile of scrap. Whatever I wanted for free. Came across some 1/4" thick, 2" aluminum c-channel. So I decided to make a hitch rack.

Now I want to make up some cables with turn buckles to run from the back of the hitch rack to the back of the seats for some added weight distribution to take some of the load off the hitch.

How's the Raptor liner looking after 3 years? has it flaked at all or show signs of wear like fade?

Awesome one of a kind build though!

The raptor liner is holding up very well. No real fading that I can tell anyway. The only issue I have is with the panel that covers the back hatch. One of the edges has some chipping. However that is probably my fault, guessing I needed to get better coverage around the edge.

Been a long time since I've been on here. My buggy is still doing well, no problems. However, it barely gets used as I still have not been able to buy hunting land. Hope it happens soon!

How is everyone else doing, how are your rides doing these days?
