repair large hole in plastic
I have a 2-2 1/2 " hole near the forward/reverse lever .
So it sounds like there are several ways to fill small holes/scrapes in the body. 1. Bondo Bumper Repair kit 2. 4 Minute JB weld But what about this size hole? |

Re: repair large hole in plastic
I would suggest you glue another piece of plastic on the backside of the hole first. You can then go back and use some filler to smooth the outer surface then prime then paint. Make sure you scuff both surfaces before bonding the filler piece. As far as which adhesive to use both work fine.

Scuff well around the hole, and glue a piece of aluminum window screen on the back side. Then build thin layers of fiber reinforced filler until smooth.
