Default 2008 ez-go st 2

I have this in another thread, but thought I would get more info here.

I have a 2008 EZ Go Sport 2, has the 2" factory lift, and I added a Jake's 6" spindle lift as well. Now it seems to be riding very rough in the rear and I am trying to figure out what I need to do to smooth it out some.

A couple things I have thought about doing:

- Removing one leaf spring from each side to soften it up, I don't haul too much weight anyway.

- Replace shocks with some longer shocks

I have also thought about moving my front motor mount down about 3-4" to try and level the engine back out instead of having it on the angle it is now. Is this necessary or just a waste of time?

Thanks in advance.

Which lift kit did you get (model) thinking about doing the same to mine? Thanks!

I got the Jake's Spindle lift #6207. If my lift will fit your cart I will sell you mine. I took it back off, with kids and my wife driving the cart I thought it was too big. PM me for details if you are interested.

Thanks for the offer, but after reading a little more on here I am thinking about going with a 3" spindle lift.

Based on what my cart looked like with the 6" lift on it I could have fit 25" or larger. So I am guessing 23" with a 3" spindle lift will be no problem. That is what I am going to try to put on mine.

yes 23" will fit. most 23" are not true 23". I have put 22" under a standard sport II with plenty of clearance. It looks funky with big tires and little lift, but they do fit.

good talking to you Auburn17. LMK if i can help you in anyway. Hope you get is squared up.
