Re: sold??????
$1500 is a good price for an 85. For you.. And to upgrade 10 years and gain $200? Most cases...No matter what you do to an 85, it's still an '85. Tell your wife she did good! Hope it sells!

Re: sold??????
I bought a 2003 CC stock for $1350-1400. Can't remember for sure, and that was a year ago. So I think $1500 for a '85 is way high.

Re: sold??????
You have a lot of money in it, and it shows. High, low...it depends on where you live and most of all, who's looking at it. You should always ask top dollar and don't think that price is too far out of line. List all the extras that are on the cart, and what that upgrade cost you. Post the list of extras and price on the car for a bartering tool You will soon have a list thats 2000 dollars long, and you're asking 1500 back. Now the buyer is getting a deal. If his little daughter is there and sees the cart and wants it Daddy will pay 1700 to keep his daughter happy. So, you ask 1700. No you take the 1500 and they are happy. They got a nice cart with lots of extras. That they feel justified buying because it had the extra listed stuff
I'm not telling you to rip them off, Let them pay a fair price. That is only an opinion, but thats how you get top dollar. |
