Default Yamaha G2 rear end leaking oil

I think I have a Yamaha G2 cart, but am not sure.
The rear end has a slow leak. It looks like it is right where the differential meets the axle.
Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this ?
TIA for any and all help.

Common leaking point. Every cart is different, but to fix it, the axles probably need to come out and it needs regasketed/reasealed. Get your serial number on the cart and we can figure out what cart you have for sure. If you are doing the work yourself I always recommend a factory service manual for the proper procedure.

Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to BGW. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives’, husbands, girlfriend’s and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!
