Tomberlin 2009 has new batteries but won't go forward or reverse
Hello, I just installed new batteries in my 2009 Tomberlin. All the lights, brake lights, speedometer,etc work but the cart won't move forward. It did sit most of last year. When I put it in reverse, it doesn't give the reverse beep, it just beeps every few seconds.
When I put the cart in tow to move it, it felt like it was stuck in a gear and difficult to push. I have seen post with other similar problems but have not seen many solutions to fix it. Thanks! |

Welcome! You can first check for fault codes... remove the rubber plug at controller cover and watch for flashing codes. If stored, the controller will flash them permanently. All codes are listed in the Tomberlin owner/repair manual.

Thanks. Just found another post about pulling the motor and checking the brushes cause they could be stuck. I don't want to ruin them or make it a bigger issue. Is there an instructional video or manual that anyone knows about? Its impossible to find stuff online about Tomberlin golf carts.
