I realize that but you dont have access to the battery leads on this cart like a traditional cart.

You only need access to one lead to measure the current drain.

I have no idea where to look for a power lead. Nothing is labeled.

Noticed tonight the front lights are on as well. Not sure how I missed that. Well it is mostly parked head in so that's probably it.

Dealer has stated they have a fix and will be coming to fix the cart in the near future.

You just need a resistor across the positive and negative on the lights.

That's exactly the fix the dealer will install. Just have to wonder if the leds being lit would be less energy than a resistor. In my mind the VCM cannot see the low resistance of the led and is still leaving the circuit energized after key switch disconnect. Seen that happen when I was an engineer at CAT. The transition to LED was not smooth.

There is a cover on the top of the battery, there's a sticker that says risk of shock.. I believe its 4 7/16 nuts to take it off. Under that cover is your 2 posts (pos/neg) and a connector.

As far as the taillights staying on, I've never had this issue with these onwards. I'd check that the VCM is up to date, then onto the brake sensor, and maybe try a new relay. Do the headlights work with the key off?
