Default Patching a large hole and fill little holes on body

I have a G19 body im going to be painting soon. There are a few holes from clips around the body and one large 4x4 square hole. Ive heard different things about bondo cracking. I was considering using fiberglass and epoxy to make a patch on the back side and filling in with epoxy or light bodo. Any suggestions for the patch and small holes?
