Default '99 TXT Rivet Kit

Hey Guys, I'm almost ready to reinstall the rear body. I'm searching for a rivet kit now, but its a lil confusing. There are so many & it seems like there is very little constancy between them. Can you guys give a link to the best full body rivet kit & Push pins?

I just buy plain rivets in larger quantities. They are just sized by the hole size and the shank. If you get a "EZGO KIT" they are greatly over priced and you only get an exact amount. I can buy a 500 qty assorted rivet kit for less than $20, usually takes care of that. Never had a problem.

Edit: Harbor Freight and Home Depot usually have assorted sets of rivets. If you aren't sure, get two kits, one with smaller rivets, one with larger rivets. If yours has the plastic push in connectors you can find them at any auto parts store, you can also get an assorted kit.

I’ve always used a rivet kit when I’ve taken off ezgo bodies to paint them. To me the $20 is worth not having to guess. They have all the right sizes (and usually some extras). Plus the black ones for the dash bezel and stuff like that.

You’re gonna need a big rivet gun for the lower ones though, they’re quite large. A kwik klik gun isn’t gonna cut it. You can get an air powered rivet gun for about $50 and thank me later. The big squeeze type that look like bolt cutters work too but it’s worth an extra 20 bucks for the pneumatic one
