99 Club car Rev limiter
Hello everyone I am looking for a little help here. I have a 99 club car and just had the engine rebuilt this winter. I have a 6" spindle lift on the cart with 22X11X10 tires on it. When I took it out for a spin after I got it all back together I could only get 13-14 MPH out of it on a flat road. I do have the torque spring kit in the driven clutch but that is it as for mods to the engine. Should I expect more speed then that out of it? I did read the threads about unhooking the ground strap on the rev limiter and did that but I saw NO change in it. I do not have a tach on it yet so I did not want to get to extreme yet. What should I be looking for? I started out with 1 cart as a "toy" or "project" but now have 4 of them so I am sure I will be asking alot of questions for each of my carts as I build them up!

Reconnect the limiter and zip tie the governor. If you choose to leave both disconnected add a tach. If you choose to ignore that simple information give me a call. I'm always in the market for blown engine carts http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-c...-club-car.html FC |
