Anything from the roll over switch to water in the engine. Take the plugs out and turn it over to flush the water outif any. Wiring could be wet, open her up and dry her out for a couple daysactually worked for me one time. Check your fuses.

Merry Christmas and thank you for the useful thread. I followed to the end and with a good battery and charger I still have excessive battery drain after 9 holes of starting and stopping to the point battery is sucked down to less than 10 volts when starting. It will not turn over and continues to discharge down to 6-7 volts. It is a new battery and I recharge it only to have the cart (2010 Yamaha YDRA) do the same thing. I'm trying to decide if it is the solenoid (it clicks until battery voltage drops too much) or the starter/generator has bad windings. When the cart is running the voltage at battery is over 13 volts indicating generator is working. I apologize if someone else has solved this but I haven't found it.

It should charge at 14.5 to 15.5 to keep the battery charged, just like a car. Something is wrong with the charging system.
