Default Club Cart DS

Hi, guys,
I have a Club car DS 96 and the armature /diff is making a noise like a motor bike. Inside the armature is a bush with the splines for the output shaft. Wher could I find such a bush and the glue that stick the bush to the shaft.

It’s probably a worn bearing in the motor, or input shaft. See if the input shaft has any play in it. It shouldn’t. You can pull the armature out of the motor easily enough and check the bearing in the back of it. Those can make a lot of racket that sounds like it’s coming from the rear end or even the brakes if it gets bad enough

Hi Guys,

When I remove the armature there is a 10-spline bakelite bush inside the section that goes over the input shaft. That bush is worn and needs replacing. Could anyone tell me
where to find that bush?
Greetings

I just bought one of these from Buggies Unlimited. It's called a "GE Motor Ring Guide" and their item # is 5733. You stick it on with locktite.
