48v lithium bank only showing 10cells on app.
I juat installed a new 48v allied lithium commercial battery in my ydre and the bluetooth app only shows 10 cells and 36volts. What gives? Any ideas? Their online chat apparently isnt working.

What battery? What BMS? What App are you running? Sounds like the BMS isn't seeing all of the cells though.

Re: 48v lithium bank only showing 10cells on app.
Sounds more like an app issue rather than a BMS issue. From the OP, it’s an Allied 48v lithium commercial battery.
https://alliedlithium.com/products/a...s-golf-and-utv One of those I would think. The OP also hasn’t stated if the battery is working correctly or not, just that the app only shows 10 cells. Or maybe he’s been sent a 36v unit?….OR….are there other carts around? Has he inadvertently connected to a 36v battery in another cart? It is commercial so maybe he’s dealing with a fleet. More info is needed. |

Even their 36v is LiFePO4 though, so should be 12 cells. Could be connecting to a totally different manufacturers pack.

Re: 48v lithium bank only showing 10cells on app.
I do live on a golf course but the battery i am connecting to is the one i have and im using allied’s app. It shows it as ab-51-150. I can only assume that is allied battery 51v and 150 ah. Also its the only one available on the app to connect to.

Re: 48v lithium bank only showing 10cells on app.
But is your cart running well? Have you measured the output voltage with a multimeter?
If that’s all ok then it’s pointing to a glitch in the app. Try deleting and reinstalling the app. |

Re: 48v lithium bank only showing 10cells on app.
If you look at the sum of the 10 voltages does that equal your battery's terminal voltage? If so, then you actually have 10 cells.
