Okay, so again, not great with electrical stuff. But when I put it into continuity mode the multimeter didn’t do anything when the switch was off and started displaying all sorts of numbers once I turned it to on. I am guessing that means it is what you originally thought? So:

White wire (switch +) to the positive side of the headlights
Black wire (switch -) to the negative side of the headlights
Yellow wire (yellow common pin +) to the positive side of the headlights
Green wire (green led -) to the negative wire from my voltage reducer

Thanks again

Watch the video in the Amazon advertisement. Nothing negative goes through the switch to the lights. You supply the light a direct negative and whichever color LED you want also connects to negative. This negative only operates the LED illuminator, not the lights. Your switch is only switching positive to the lights. The Video shows exactly how to do it.

As jasonojordan said.

White wire (switch +) To the positive side of the supply ( battery or reducer ) fused of course.
Black wire (switch -) To the positive side of the headlights
Yellow wire (yellow common pin +) Also connects to the positive side of the headlights.
Green wire (green led -) to the negative side of the supply ( Battery or reducer )

Negative for the lights also connects to the negative side of the supply ( battery or reducer )

I understand the confusion with the black being called switch - and white switch + but if it makes more sense assume white is power in from supply, black is switched power out to lights. yellow is common + with power out. and the selectable color wires need to see negative supply to power the required LED colour.

When you get it wired correctly, you should be able to combine the Red, blue and green wires in different combinations to Negative supply to get some interesting other colours LOL

I think i have drawn it correctly.

Thanks for verifying that Lance and thanks CM for drawing that out for him.

I agree CM that the terminology is likely throwing him for a loop. Really dumb way of labeling the wires.

One last question: do I have to hook my green wire up to the negative side of my reducer or can I just hook it up to any negative wire? I am guessing the reducer since most of the other negatives will be 48v and the lights are 12, but I just thought I would ask the question for ease of install. Thanks again!

White wire is battery + entering the switch.
Yellow wire is battery + exiting the switch (lights in your case).
Black wire is ground.
Blue, green or red to ground depending on which color LED you want.

The switch is polarity sensitive because it has LED's built in. LED's are obviously polarity sensitive.
