It's been done many many times here, so yes, its possible. You won't find too much in the way of "step by step" guides for this. You also won't find a "bolt in kit" for that cart. It will take mechanical knowledge and skill to get the job done right. If you have that, you can read from many posts on this fine forum, just use the "search" feature and you can find a ton of info here. When you start your project, start your own build thread and various members who have experience can help you along. Yes, it can be done.

Here is a brief list of the main things you'll need to do. Keep in mind this is NOT a complete list and there will be hurdles along the way.

1. Engine choice - Briggs Vanguard vtwin is a great engine
2. Clutches - Comet 780 for drive/primary clutch; good stock secondary/driven
3. Engine mount - buy one or make one
4. Belt - HD Kevlar type cogged belts are great - Dayco brand is good
5. Ignition wiring - standard "tractor style" key switch and 14 g wiring
6. Ground cable - to ground engine to battery/chassis
7. Lift kit - makes room for the big engine
8. Throttle cable - might modify existing or might use all new cable
9. Choke cable - modify or use new
10. Various bolts/nuts
11. Welding/Fab skills

I'm sure I left out lots. It's not for someone with zero mechanical experience, but it can be done if you have the desire to learn and are able to stick with it.
