Thanks guys, for all the good info. It’s definitely given me a lot to think about, as far as cart use and if it really fits my needs/lifestyle. I did pick up a new F/R contractor as that seems to be my first issue. Now to rewire all control wiring with new contractor and see about a test drive.

I missed where he said it was damaged.. though he said he just wanted to reinstall it to clean up the wiring.

Everything is installed, damage unknown. I don’t know full status of controller yet. I’ve gotten forward movement of the wheels, but F/R contacts are not making and releasing like they are supposed to, and control wiring is iffy. Going to install new F/R contacts and completely redo control wiring, then see how controller does. And that’s if batteries are decent. It shows 50 volts, and didn’t budge when I got forward movement, so fingers crossed.
