Default Harley Davidson fuel in cylinder/case

Hi. 1973 hd complete engine rebuild. Runs good but rich. Tried carb adjustment from 1/2 to 2 turns out. Makes no difference. Now I just had A LOT of fuel blow out plug hole while checking spark. Why did crankcase fill up with fuel?

No never have I ever head of a old golf cart being a thorn in the side just kick it that will fix it but really I would try cleaning out the carb and drain the crank case so you don’t have a ticking time bomb under your seat

This is why I have never liked the Tillotson (or clones) carbs. There is just too much going on within them being that the fuel pump is essentially located inside of the carb via diaphragms.

Here's what I would do if I were you:

Keep the carb that isn't delivering you any fuel at all. Install an electric fuel pump on your cart per the information in the "fuel draw" sticky then see what you have. At least at that point you will know for sure that you are getting gas from the tank to the carb.
