I like the four open ports on the air filter base for a ton of air flow

Time to focus on finding a new key switch and figuring out how to wire it all up

One wire from key switch to battery pos +

One wire from key switch to ground or battery neg -

One wire from key switch to starter

One wire from key switch to magneto kill tab

Wire to send power to the headlights anc parking lights

Sound right?

My engine has a ground strap from the block to the frame

The starter solenoid is mounted to the starter, so it's grounded

I ordered some 1" ID galvanized flexible exhaust pipe to start mock up of the exhaust

Need to find a good, compact quiet muffler

This fits perfectly

I'm thinking about getting some exhaust heat wrap/sleeve for the area near the belt and F/R cable

It fits nice and snug on the exhaust manifold

Should I use a hose clamp or a u-bolt to secure it?

That switch should work. Local Lowes would have it.

Memory fades but most likely turn signal switch and flasher relay.

EDIT.
Found it.
