![]() Looks great! I didn't realize how bad the lighting in my garage was until I finally put up a bunch of LED shop lights.
I ended up with these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NZCXZK6 They're relatively cheap, and they link together so you can just hardwire them in at one end of the run. I tried the 6500K version first, but I couldn't stand how blue they looked. I had a 5000K LED bulb that I compared to as well, but it still gave me that psych ward feel. 4000K is just about right to me. It looks natural without looking overly yellow. It's definitely nice having little or no shadows, like you said. I no longer have to use a cordless work light for everything I'm doing in the garage. Every time I turn on the lights, I'm pleased with how bright it is. |

![]() Just echoing this thread. I replaced all my 8’ with the 5k LED two years ago. My first thoughts, holy hell I need to clean! I just thought it was my old eyes and got used to it. What a difference and no hum

![]() I had wired my shop with old style socket lights and as time went on (faster as you get older) I needed more light. i bought some of those lED 3 paddle lights and screwed them in. They let you aim them in any direction and work great.

![]() Good lighting in a workshop is always a must have. Nice job! It shouldn't be any problem painting the walls with a compressor like you have.

![]() LOL, got it covered. Lower 8' of the walls is 3/4 plywood painted white and the upper is green tin reclaimed from the dairy barn. I did all the painting with a roller before putting up shelving moving tools in ect, back in 2015
