Scored a Bombadier NEV. Its not so bad.
I scored a Bombadier esport NEV a couple weeks ago. It was kinda running but I pulled it into the garage and tore it down.
Getting the batteries required a floor jack and stands and a harbor freight moving dollie. I lifted it and slid the dollie under it. then unhooked all the bolts and jacked the car up over the batteries/unhooked the wiring and rolled the battery out. Install in reverse. took a half hour each way and allowed me to test each battery and clean it all out good. It runs and drives. Kinda slow to accelerate as compared to the Gem car I got at the same time. the light/turn signal switch was broken but Ebay and a new pugeaut (spelled wrong) euro car switch fixed it and all the wiring connectors match and plug right in!. (score) now we try to make it much much faster. like maybe a hyabussa motor. |
