Default new suspension?

ok, so i know everyone says getting HD leaf springs is something i should do, but how much will it really help? and has anyone put on the front coil over shocks?

http://www.buggiesunlimited.com/prod...022&cat=142252

will the HD springs and those shocks in the front help smooth out the ride? and how much more performance will it give in the mud and off road?
