Default K&N and other upgrades on a G9

Hey everyone... I have 18+ years worth of knowledge on fixing stock carts. I have just recently gotten into modding the carts and have finally gotten a cart for myself. I have an '89 G9, I am looking to spend a little money now with all sorts of plans for the future. I am currently looking to get a K&N filter to replace the air box, and possibly a power spring for the clutch. If I do either or both of these things should I get an upgraded jet? If so, what size jet do I need? I don't think that the spring will matter about the jetting but mainly the filter upgrade.

Future plans are: 6" lift with tires, and the upgraded exhaust kit....as I mod, do i need to continue to rejet, or is there really only 1 size up from stock carb jets.

Thanks

yes thats what i've used on my g9 and also modded my muffler for more airflow. what i did was bought the jet kit from plowmans (site sponcer) and it runs great! when you play with filters and exausts you just need to wach your plug colour.

Black your getting too much fuel and white too much air. You want the plug to
be a tan color. Good luck!
