Default need help with a Jakes a-arm lift

just had my long travel from Jakes installed at the local cart shop, the part that has the J plasma cut must be backwards because it looks like a L from the front, shop said it must have been a fugg up @ Jakes but I can't see that happening. Just got it back a few hours ago and prolly need to contact Jakes but thought that maybe somebody can chime in and tell me or show me whats not right

I would think the part would of been cut with a waterjet and with a Computer so if its backward the part is on backwards. But im not sure since i don't have a jakes kit. Someone here should chime in.

The shop didn't even take off the front cowl. He stated that he'd never had to take one off before. Maybe that's what's causing the problem with the backwards part?

Here's some better pics of the backwards part.

This is a cosmetic mistake that was made at our shop in PA. When bending the plate it was put in the machine with the J up instead of down. It is the same plate with the same bends but the J is now backwards. We are proud of what we make and we apologize for the inconvenience. We are sending you a new J-plate next day air-you should have it tomorrow.

Whoever installed the kit put the heim spacer washers for the spindles on the shocks. This is not correct and needs to be installed correctly before you drive the cart again.

Give us a call if you need any help.

thanks for the help with this lift situation and a big thumbs up to Jakes Lifts for immediately correcting the problem and for the info concerning the heim bushings. And a good eye too to Arcitech for noticing the spacer deal. And the ol' lady wonders why I spend so much time on the site here....just a bunch of great guys. Thanks to all again, Chris
