Default 2001 Club Cart DS, cheapest way to increase speed

Posted in wrong section.
Will go over to Club Cart section.

My cart is a tad 'slow', I've clocked it at around 12 MPH.
After reading around the net and in this board, I don't want to upgrade the controller or the motor. I was thinking just the tires.

I have stock 18x8.5-8 tires, so I was thinking of maybe going to 20x8.5-8.
Or, if they don't make those, 20x10-8.
How much speed would that get me?
Even just a couple of MPH would be fine.

Also, I was thinking of only doing it to the rear tires so that I don't have the issue where turning would scrape the sides on the front.

Any comments?

Probably best if this was posted in the Club Car section - you should get some more targeted responses.

Taller tires will net you additional top end speed at the price of an equal amount of reduced torque. In the case of a 20" tire, it is 11% taller than stock. It will increase speed and reduce torque by equal amounts. Estimated increased speed 13.3 mph
