since were talking paint.
Igot a carryall 2 from USAF base they painted green . need to strip paint off the curtis cab and back sides . so i can patnt cowl and roof (anything thats not aluminm) silver gray . How can i strip the aluminum?

One way that comes to mind is to have it media blasted with baking soda. I don't know about where you live but there are businesses that have mobile units that will come to your place and blast it there. The baking soda posses no threat to the environment and it won't hurt the aluminum as far as i know. You don't get the etching that other forms of media produce, i.e. sand. etc. Another media that may work is crunched walnut shells.

Ive heard of the shells but not considerd them that may be the way to go since i have 5 pecan trees here in the yard. Thanks..
