how to lift on a 4 link setup?
two examples that ive seen on here that would be interesting on how they achieved the lift are
and then this green cart, is it shocks only, air cylinder, coilover setup, hydraulic cylinder?? i dont see springs so to me it eliminates coilover setup. i know there are airbag setups, which the closer the airbag to the pivot point the more lift is acheived (learned from mini trucks) and then ive seen setups such as quarter eliptical springs but im trying to keep the link setup simple. thanks |

Re: how to lift on a 4 link setup?
Both of them are running air shocks whick are actually nitrous charges shocks that give the same benefit as coilovers but cannot handle quite the weight. They are used heavily in the off road industry on vehicles with little sprung weight (the weight above the suspension). So golf carts are great candidates.
