Allsports 8" Long Travel Lift Kit Help Needed
Hello, I have an '04 EZGO TXT that I've just installed an 8" Allsports LT kit on. They didn't include any instructions for the rear installation. There's also a plate which I think bolts to the front engine mount to drop the engine down for proper alignment? I just need to know if my thinking is correct. Also, the rear suspension is very stiff as i have also installed H.D. Leaf Springs on it. Was this necessary? I will have a rear seat installed too.
Thanks for any help in advance! |

Big Dogs only work on Club Car. This is an EZGO.

Re: Allsports 8" Long Travel Lift Kit Help Needed
Check the Allsports website for instructions on your kit. If the instructions aren't there call their customer service, they will help you. I had some problems with my kit due to the person that packed the box and they were very helpful in getting the correct parts to me quickly. As for the hd rear springs, if you are adding a rear seat kit and will be carrying passengers you would be in good shape. Your tire type and air pressure will also play a vital role in how your cart rides. Do you plan on going off road or just on pavement? I have the hd springs on my cart and it rides great, but I do have a workhorse with the metal dump bed.

Re: Allsports 8" Long Travel Lift Kit Help Needed
I called Allsports again today. I was told that I would receive a return call in a couple hours. Within 10 minutes I received a call. They told me that I was missing the second box that had the rear install instructions in it with the rear springs. My dealer didn't realize that there was 2 boxes. It does install the way I thought. Also, this lift kit uses Club Car rear springs, not EZGO. Guess I spent money when it wasn't necessary. Thanks for the advice folks!
